3 mm (US 2.5) 40 cm (16 in) circular needle or double-pointed needles for working a small circumference in the round; stitch marker; darning needle.
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
30 sts x 40 rnds = 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 in) over textured rib pattern with 3 mm (US 2.5) needles after blocking.
