Wusai vest
Wusai vest
Wusai comes from Ukrainian and means “the one with whiskers” — a reference to the featured textured pattern. This family of designs also includes Wusai hat and Wusai socks.
It’s a cropped vest with deep V-neck and asymmetric hemline. The vest is worked top-down flat to the underarms, starting from the back and continuing with two fronts. At the underarms the pieces are joined and worked flat continuing shaping of the V-neckline. After finishing the V-neck, the body of the vest and hem are worked in the round. Finally, the vest is finished with the ribbed band picked up and worked around the neckline.
